Cost of progressive lenses at costco. Any advice from your experience? May 19, 2017 · I just received possession of a new set of prescription sunglasses purchased at Costco. But last year we moved, and in our new location there's a convenient, nearby BJ's and an inconvenient, remote Costco. Recently, I got noticeable scratches on the right lens, affecting my vision. In addition, they won't give you any static if you want to return them. Costco needs 7 business days to fix them, but I can't go without glasses. Cost was less than we'd have paid in-network for similar lense design and materials. While I've somewhat adjusted to them, it's hard to work without glasses. They have progressive lenses with polarization, antireflective coating, and light- adaptive tinting. I wear progressives and buy mine at Costco. The Costco rep said that's not a normal service, saying "we aren't a full-service optical provider, that's why our prices are low". The cost is about the same as Varilux X. Of course you did take every bell and whistle it sounds like. I have eyemed insurance.
